

But did you actually create that account in your Outlook as IMAP? Or was it actually created as a POP account? You have to specify which at account creation time in outlook. You say you specified the IMAP settings ( /993/ssl ). Your incoming server settings look correct (after taking into account the missing words and periods - why don't I have that problem in my browser?). So I take it your "yes.am getting the emails" means you logged into the yahoo webmail through and the stuff is in its inbox. they just aren't transferring to Outlook.īut with your settings using the yahoo servers that would be impossible. Using your att account can you log into the att webmail through ? Are your test emails (I assume you sent them to yourself using your att email address) in its inbox? Of course with yahoo I trust them as far as I can throw them. Therefore if they are two distinct accounts (your old yahoo and new att) then I don't know why you bother to even mention you had yahoo at all. So having a prior yahoo email account (theoretically) should have no bearing on using you email client with the att server settings, account, and password. You must have gotten an att email account when you signed up for att.
